New Wildlife Accommodations @ BallyCairn!
Today we erected two nesting boxes in the grounds of BallyCairn House. Firstly, a ceramic nesting teapot, hidden among the ivy on an ash tree which we hope will be discovered by a couple of romantic robins or wrens this spring. Also, a more lofty penthouse nesting box, with stunning sea views, aimed at attracting the beautiful sparrow hawk we regularly see swooping through the garden or maybe even a couple of owls from the nearby woodlands at Carnfunnock.
