A Warm Welcome to BallyCairn House
We are Dee and Johnny a husband and wife team who swapped teaching after over 30 years to become B&B hosts, combining our love of art, gardening and hospitality. From tea and cake on arrival, tasty breakfasts with homemade jams and breads, we take pride in offering a personal and relaxed experience for our guests.
At BallyCairn House we have created a place where guests can truly: slow down, enjoy the views and natural environment, explore the coast and glens and feel at home.
We love helping guests discover the best of the Antrim Coast, from famous sights like the Giant's Causeway to hidden gems you won't find in guidebooks. We will help you plan your day trips and provide you with a uniquely annotated map of the Causeway Coast with our tips and hints on what to do and see.
Many of our guests return year after year for the personal welcome and relaxed atmosphere.
We'd love to share our home - and this very special part of Northern Ireland - with you.
A Glimpse into the BallyCairn Experience
Here are some photographs, offering a glimpse into the character of BallyCairn House. From thoughtfully curated art and design-led interiors to the welcoming dining room, where guests enjoy freshly prepared breakfasts overlooking our gardens and the Irish Sea. Each space reflects our creative background and love of detail, creating a setting that is both relaxing and distinctly personal.
We recommend staying a little longer to fully experience all that the area has to offer. With so much to explore in County Antrim and along the Causeway Coastal Route, from iconic landmarks to hidden gems, a multi-night stay allows you to relax, take your time and truly make the most of your visit.
